.....hi all as above really. I am opening a new shop in a few weeks and want a way of recording sales and services on a weekly basis which will automatically build a report. Anyone know of one?
what do you want to know, how do you want to present it and what data have you got to start with? Depending on what you want it can be quite easy, but it could also be very hard.
i want to create a list of services, products and just tally up and total at the end of each day really. nothing too complicated. Then will have graphs showing performance.
if you want i can try and knock something up, otherwise have a look and see if any of the excel templates are near what you want.
What system are you using for your accounts?
To me, this sounds like a classic case of using Excel when you should be using Access.
Unless Excel's data querying tools have become MUCH better, you'll eventually want to find something out like which items are top sellers, and you'll realise that it's an absolute pain to do in Excel.
