I have a range of cells that are included in formulae.

I'd like to copy those cells, and have them reference the same source cells for the formulae.

Is there an easy way to do that without recreating the formulae at all?

Thanks.

Isn't it just a case of using relative and absolute references, or am I missing something from the problem?

Purist may well have this one sewn up for you.

It is also possible to drag cells about and maintain the original references without putting $ signs everywhere if that's easier for you.

you can cut and paste the formula text from the formula bar, if there aren't too many to do
