Interesting. Also, saw THIS at the bottom of the page - basically an engine you can strap onto your bike - looks terrifying!

Scott sold a bike remarkably similair a few years back in the hybrid range.

It's individual thats for sure.

Obscene isn't it? But it's becoming increasingly popular - god knows why .. they've even coined a term for them - '29ers'

Ha! that is the identical frame to the one a colleague rides to work. Since November he's had the frame stripped to respray it. Each day he regales me with tales of having to strip it and restart as the paint won't harden, or when it does someone knocks it and scratches it.. Poor lad, can't help but think, why bother!?!

It's a work of genuine genius. I keep having to flick back through the pictures and take in its majesty.
Could do with a rack and a wind shield though.

TBH I think that could be a potential bargain for someone, if you could get it for a £1 and the £35 P&P. It doesn't look like a 21" frame (Diamond back BTW), & with luck they could be Marz MX forks - at worst case you should be able to get £35 for the fox air shock.
Otherwise drop some 26" wheel on it, replace the chainset (or rings) and it' be a nice entry level bike for not a lot.

never mind the bike, look at the turds!

having said that, it does look like someone nicked the front end of a decent bike and stuck it on what they already had...

Wasn’t it £100 first time round - now £400 that is some profit Mr Glitter is getting by turning that beauty.

Re the fox forked Tesco bike with free turds. I reckon that might ride ok.

I feel the sellers listing is missing something, perhaps a pie chart or graph of some description?

I'm going to be rich! 🙂

That Raleigh was in MBUK I think- someone had written a letter in with that picture, saying that they could out-ride all their mates on expensive bikes. 🙂 I hoped that he was taking the piss, and he even got a nice reply from the mag.

I remember that Raleigh too, if you look he has changed everything on it, so it has become the most expensive raleigh probably ended up that it would be cheaper to buy a stumpjumper

I reckon the full suss commuter market is seriuosully overlooked - they could be onto something with the diamondback....

Are they huge levers or tiny bars though?
