Anyone else a bit suprised they've chosen Engelbert Humperdinck to be the UK's Eurovision entry????

Didn't they used to have a competition with public vote to pick the UK entry?

I bet even he was surprised to get the call!!!

Well, no offence, but you are never going to win as all of Europe hates you as 1. the Gulf War, Afghanistan etc 2. refuse to join the Euro 3. behaviour of British Tourists/retirees/backpackers at European resorts 4. Football fans.

I know it's unfair as you did bail them out on two wars last century, but life isn't fair.

So, you might as well make it look like you don't care. This explains Skoosh too.
