Harsh against fhe Germans - do I care 🙂

Edit: Maybe ref was fed up with Schweinstiger trying to buy a pen at the other end. Pretty daft to jump at the ball hand first

The ref saw his chance, and he went for it.

He evidently has a bet on half-time/full time.

Harsh? No! That was a stonewall pen - can't have your hands up there...

Same as Boeteng in the last German game, why the **** does he have his arms up so close to the ball, he has given the ref a decision to make as harsh as it may be.

Boetengs was understandable, as he star jumped into it.

Evra headed the ball onto Schweinsteiger’s arm. Whether his arms should be there or not, it was not deliberate, and he was not attempting to redirect the ball.

It's a goal, tho, so meh.

No way was that deliberate.

Germany have only conceded 2 goals. Both from pens due to handballs.

The manager should really warn them.....but saying that, Löw is probably not the best person when it comes to keeping your hands from places they shouldn't be.

He knew he wasn't going to make the header so tried to give him a shove ... ?

If you have your hands up there, and it stops the ball heading goalwards, you force the ref into a decision which might go against you. Tough, but they get given.

OTOH - I've got a double on Griezmann to score first and France to win 1-0 or 2-0 at 18/1, so not overly bovvered.

I find it difficult to be even remotely bothered about either France or Germany being on the receiving end of dodgy refs decisions

Does Giroud think he's Raheem Sterling?

Lovely commentary from Martin Keown there - definite foul.

In his day he'd have picked up a bonus for going through someone from the back like that

This has all the hallmarks of a 1-0.

Muller is anonymous, so not too sure who is going to score the German goals.

...and now they lose one of their best defenders.

Looking like one of those nights.

How Muller hasn't got hooked yet...

Almost a haiku.

And the French have nicked the Iceland chant- that's not fair! Germany looking like England, and not in a good way!

It's Germany, never count them out - they're like Utd used to be.

From the BBC feed -

boldaslove: Had England not COMPLETELY underestimated Iceland they could've won this tournament. Makes that performance even harder to take

Yeah, i thought that. thieving toe-rags (unless a load of Iceland fans have infiltrated the stadium).

Greizmann living up to his billing. How much would he cost to lever away from Athletico? - £80 million at least I think.

You really don't want your shots falling to Mustafi.
