I thought bulletproof was with butter, not cream?

Flashheart - I get what you are saying but think of it as vodka instead of espresso and ask the same question:

How do you like your vodka?
Neat
With cola
On ice
With soda

etc etc

Agree with CFH.

Espresso is pure, every variant thereafter is something else.

Rubbish. The question is 'How do you like your espresso?', and the drinks are all* espresso based types of coffee.

* With the possibly technical exception of ristretto, which is an espresso pour but cut short.

The question could just as easily have been 'How do you like your whisky?', and it would be patently absurd to tell someone who likes a drop of water, ginger ale, soda water, or another mixer with their whisky, that 'they are not drinking whisky'.

More importantly, you have both completely failed to spot the glaring omission of 'Corretto' from the list of options, which is obviously the 'correct' ( 😉 ) answer.

No option for "with ice" either.

Espresso is an ingredient used in lots of different drinks.

My personal favourite is a Cappateano.

Large mug, 2 shots of espresso, a bit of milk and then filled with Yorkshire Tea.

Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.

Ohh.. I might try that.. will Twynings Strong Tea be ok ? 😆

My favourite espresso (which always seems better in Sienna or Florence) is this:

All in one glass ..

One scoop Vanilla Ice cream
One shot espresso (pour over ice cream)
One shot Amaretto (pour over espresso and ice cream)
One shot Sambuca (on the side, for quaffing as you see fit)

Enjoy, maybe have another later in the day..

My favourite espresso - espresso martini.

Done properly it is the drink of the gods. So smooth and silky. Mmmmm.

Rubbish.

Maybe but if I asked a barista for an espresso, I'd be wanting the first and not the second. And I'd also not expect to be asked how I wanted my espresso.

RE ESpresso martini...
Go on, give us your recipe...

I usually do:
espresso
vodka
kalhua
Shaken with ice, then strained...

Some people add martini red??

I'm wondering what the best one is..
