Those guys who took their helmets off got DQ'd. They looked shattered.

Its painful watching the 3 of them trying to get out of that gully! You're right, true sportsmanship there - until the first one gets to the top - will he bolt?

Great interview there with the organiser. Let the spectators get the bloody bikes out.

Agreed, its become a farce now, the more riders join it in the gully the more difficult it is to sort out. Please get them some help!

I felt sorry for the South African who finished with the other 4 & got disqualified for missing a time check.
It was good to see the only other finisher, the Spanish bloke who had to get dragged out of the woods with only the Welsh rider to assist also get on the podium.

But he missed a check.
Jarvis has had this happen to him twice despite being the first across the line.

SSS I know it was his mistake & they're the rules but he must have been gutted after going through all that & getting to the finish only to find out he missed a time check ๐Ÿ˜ฅ
At least he knows he can do the course!

Nice on mate, never quite got to that level, used to do quite well in the Ryedale rally type events years ago. I'm mainly just support for my lad now, do the Saturday practices with him then he races the 85 BW class, they do 1.5 hours on pretty much the same course as the adults. He's knackered at the end. I'm knackered after 20 mins.
