No Townsend said it was a great pass by lallana on a plate for Rooney.
Quite enjoyed that, maybe the passion for England is building again. We'll see...

And for once I'd give Rooney at least 9/10. Well done Wayne!

Once again we seem to be playing very well against mediocre opposition....

you're even worse than we are
you're even worse than we are

which must be depressing

We're a nation 1/10th the size of england, which means proportionally we just beat you 10-3 😉

I'd say the opposite, we've consistently failed to dominate against weaker opposition. And it's been the undefinable lack of passion, whatever that really means, that has been highlighted. You can't help but get your dander up for a derby game like this though, and we played with pace and intensity.

A very enjoyable game - loads of passion from both sides and a crowd that sounded like a proper footie crowd for once.

Not sure about the ITV commentary though - they shouted out Rooney's name as OX put the ball in the net 🙂

Oh no you don't. You wanted a geographic share of the oil, you can take the geographic share of the goals.

Decent to see an International played like that
Poor result but we are tiny and shit in comparison- only two premier league players in the team for example....remember when we had world class players ..Hansen, Souness, Daglish etc where are they now?

Bantering aside, I reckon reintroducing regular home nations "Friendlies" would be great in the long run for everyone. Same time next year?

Enjoyed the game, thought it was actually a lot more balanced than some are suggesting. 3-1 flattered England a little - 2-1 would have been fair enough.

England look good, incisive on the attack and pressed well in defense. Definitely deserved the win.

We look a bit flat compared to Friday night. Our goal was the best though!
