[Closed] Endura Humvee trews for walking?

Been using the above in the shorts version for walking, attempting to climb, going to the pub when it was open, doing the shopping, riding a bike and so on.
Now that the weather is turning a bit parky, does anyone think that the trews will be as good as walking trousers?

Mrs. crikey will not approve, of course.

I bought the trousers a few years ago which have the zip offs for a bike/hike trip. They have been superb and I use them as my primary walking trouser.

They also pair well with a base layer when cold and are fine with waterproof trews over the top when its pishing down

I have 3 pairs and pretty much live in mine and use a particular older pair for cycling and walking. They're great, comfy hard wearing trousers with stretch in all the right places.

Thank you folk, ordered some.

...Mrs crikey will be pleased when I ask for alterations* because sewing is her new hobby, but less pleased when I wear them for the next 6 months.

*Only got little legs and tend to need a shorter trouser.

I need a new pair, I've worn out my current pair. Not bad for 8 years constant winter wear. Love mine.

Been using a pair as walkers for a couple of years and they are v comfy, breathable and the extra pockets are v useful. MrsDH thinks they’re better than her s****y Rab walkers. Need comfy walkers in middle age 👍👍👍, these are just that but with that bit of gnarr you want too. Well done on the purchase you won’t be disappointed

I've got a pair in the back of the wardrobe I'd forgotten about!

Yes, great for walking, gardening and all round winter wear.

FWIW, I prefer the Keela Scuffers/Roadrunners. Especially handy that they come in a variety of leg lengths.
