Driving back from Edinburgh tomorrow fancy stopping to see the tour of Britain on this climb,. Can any locals suggest a sensible and permissable place to park. Can't find any info on park for the race online. Noticed about of parking prohibition signs on the verges on the way up so I guess just shoving it in a verge will be a no no.

Quite a few options in Elsdon at the bottom but they are likely to be taken.
There is a layby on the top but again likely to be full along with all the gates and other sneaky spots.
Maybe try one of the smaller roads to Whiskershiel farm or Raylees and then walk over.
