Said I never would, but we have a nice new leisure centre in Matlock and Mrs STR wanted to join, so had the induction today. Working away from home is cutting down riding time, so a swim and some gym time seems to be in order over the winter at least. The odd game of badminton should be on the cards too

I've lost a stone in 5 weeks (down to 12.5st) due to sorting out a crap diet and I'm aiming for a 6 pack in 6 months - watch this space.

Awaits flaming

You dont need a six pack - you need a barrel.

HAHA, I quite like council gyms, whenever I've joined one I go there a lot more than the £75/month "spa" my missus mad me join. That place was so un gym like it was untrue, to the point where the weights were lables 1-20 rather than by weight and refered to as "resistance settings" to remove any element of gym-ness from it!
