Everyone likes to complain about EE, so here's a positive experience.
Ordered a 'good as new' upgrade for Mrs Grips to a Pixel 2, and being a returned phone it was much cheaper than usual. But then I got an email saying it was out of stock and to call a number to discuss it. So I called, and they said they'd send us a new one instead for the same price, honouring the discount code I used through work. Whilst on the phone they texted me a link to a webpage to accept the T&Cs which went through immediately, and at the end the guy texted me his direct email so I could contact him with any problems.
Can't fault that!
They're generally really good, up til the point they've got your money.
They've had my money for years and years. Still no issues.
Always been excellent with me. Sorry to disappoint.
Always been good with me, only issue I ever had was with a package data roaming when in jolly Espania .. and EE didn’t take it off when I got back so kept charging for it, but they refunded that quickly.
Yep, been good with us as well for phones and some broadband since they were Orange.
I had to go into EE and CFW recently, both provided sterling service and an EE salesman even talked me out of going for a higher data deal. Top man!
EE have been good to me for 15-ish years now, last year when my renewal was up I went on their site to renew but the site wouldn't confirm if my employers discount would continue.
I rang them and spoke to a lady who ended up giving me the phone for free instead of an upfront payment, 10gb of extra data per month and also paying slightly less per month! Then same as the OP was sent a weblink to agree the T&C's and was away.
The thing that made me giggle the most was the voice recording when I called them kept saying our best deals are online, turns out that was a lie!
Another very happy customer here too..
Top tip for anyone thinking of upgrading ( assuming you didn't already know ) ..contact them directly (150 ) for a better deal than you would get by walking into one of their ( franchised ) stores ..
By calling 150 I got a deal with 60% off the advertised tariff. The advertised tariffs are not competitive and they know this and pretty much match the best deals available. Been with them since the Orange days, probably getting on for 20 years now.
