Anyone watching his new series "First Man Out"? Apparently 2 rubber johnies tied to a stick can kill a crow at 30 paces! who would have thought eh?
What a load of drivel, he's really taken a dive. Very "Bear Grylls"............hmmmm has this been done before?
Sadly I have watched this new series. Not been impressed, its just too contrived with some stupid things, as you say too much BG :/
I see he's got one with him living in the street starting next week I think.
Shame he's sold out really, his early stuff was quite good. Loads of anomalies in his new series, things magically appearing such as dry firewood in wet conditions and really bad continuity wherby hes nuts deep in a river one scene then comparatively dry in the next.
I've enjoyed it but it's probably because it's had a few guys off survive that which I absolutely loved.
Most things are scripted these days, it's probably down to insurance and HR red tape.
I think some of the inconsistencies are down to editing. With 2 people to follow they have had to show just the best bits.
