I bought a technic set on eBay for my lad for Xmas. Purchased on the 6th. 2-3 days postage.
Contacted today and asked for tracking details. This evening I’m refunded the full amount for non delivered item?
What’s going on here? Non specific weird shit?
Poor stock control, genuinely lost and they have proof of postage and don't want the hassle?
What @jonnystorm says, lots of ebay shops list stock they "should" have, not what they do have. So this Brexit malarky has totally knacked them!
Maybe they sold it elsewhere, eg Facebook or Gumtree, and made more money.

Dropshipper that doesn't hold actual stock, order comes in but item is no longer available for them to order to be delivered to buyer.
Hardly a scam is it, you got your money back as soon as you contacted them. Screw up on their end I imagine and nothing to do with lost in postage as won't be at that stage yet.
Annoying for you as you won't be getting it but just don't use them again.

It's a long scam, they figure out you're an stw member and then sell you Lego on eBay, then return your money and when you mention it on stw someone will volunteer to help but you'll need to give them your bank details. Hook, line and sinker.
