Just been bumped up on a bike for the daughter, every counter bid just came up as "private listing"
I decided to sack it off and the private listing won the item. My bids came up as my log in name as normal, any ideas what this is??

theres not much point in eBay keeping your own login a secret from yourself

I think you can see just your own. Private bids is an option for the seller, seem a bit shifty, cant really see the point in em.

So anyone who makes a bid it will come up as private?

Normally you get the first and last letter of the username, and the feedback score. So you don't get any info really anyway.

But that way you can at least see if its the same person who's bid on their stuff before.
