Yep, eBay are (surprisingly) good on dealing with these things. I had a buyer who failed to pay on a £1,500 item which was on a 1% FVF deal, and when I came to relist it the deal had expired. I contacted eBay and not only did they reinstate the deal, but they actually didn't take any fees on that transaction at all - I (literally) triple checked with them at the time but they insisted that was correct, so I was actually significantly better off than if the buyer had paid the first time round!
I'm about to list a log spitter it's a beast and weighs 200kg, I'm looking forward to two idiots turning up in a hatchback.
This, is possibly taking it a bit far. Why is there always a relevant story? Its like magic. Maybe I am special?
Well, it seems I was being a tad unfair - my buyer just turned up to collect. True, it was completely out of the blue with no warning, but he seemed like a nice chap and was happy with it (the reason I wanted collection in person in the first place).
