I was cheering Palace on the radio earlier. I had an absolute arsehole for a boss years ago who was (and still is I hope) a Brighton fan and I was hoping he was feeling the pain of defeat this evening. Me, no. Dad and brother are season ticket holders and have probably missed 5 homes games over the last 10 years. I enjoy watching the all-or-nothing occasions.

I was at the match at Wembley with a mate and his kids. Towards the end of the first period of extra time I said to him our best chance of scoring is for zaha to bring the ball into the box and draw a foul for a penalty. 30 seconds later boom! Get in.
