So i found a puddle and rode through it.

Also thanks to scotroutes for the coffee van headsup coffee and crepe while a lancaster and some spitfires/hurricanes flew past really set the day off!

Its good innit? We saw the flyover while enjoying a picnic at the top of Maidens. Followed by ice cream at the Vanilla Pod. Harelaw has needed something like that for years.

Pretty sure I know one of the pilots, keen (local) MTBer so he was probably checking out your route 🙂

Wouldnt take long to check it out!

It was a lovely day, its nice to see walkers horseriderists roadies and mountainbikers all getting along nicely. Held a few gates open so people could continue their ride through. Just a pleasure!

I've just heard that The Vanilla Pod will have some inner tubes for sale (and a track pump to borrow).

I can be persuaded to go for a ride most of the time unless I have something on, I don't know the pentlands that well though so can't promise the best possible route!
