So, my scrappy Astra's been sounding a bit "meatier" than usual these last few weeks (as a colleague put it - you sound like a rude boy ****).
Had the front flexipipe replaced a few months ago, and assumed it was that blowing.
Got it up on stands, laying under the car, tracing the pipe from exhaust manifold backwards...

It seems I only have half an exhaust - I assume the other half is somewhere on the side of the A24 or something?!
Oddly, I can't recall the day the car became "tuned", and it's a tad embarrassing that I obviously didn't notice the silencer/backbox coming away!
Had I had a peek under the REAR of the car, I'd have noticed straight away and saved myself the effort of jacking the thing up!
Trip to ECP in the morning me thinks!
