Back in the day Terrence Dicks was a writer on Doctor Who. Episodes would start with a caption such as "Doctor Who and The Giant Robot by Terrence Dicks"
Take the name of the monster and swap it with Terry's surname and you get "Doctor Who and the Giant Dicks by Terrence Robot", "Doctor Who and the Dicks from Mars by Terrence Spider" etc...
