I've just done some adjustments to #1 son's bike, with the result that I have a pair of Reba SLs, a pair of avid bb7s, shifters and front and rear mech lying around.
Hmmm, all I need is a frame, crankset, wheels, a headset, handlebars, seat post, saddle. and a few other little bits'n'bobs and I'll have n+1 bikes.
And it's a looong weekend plenty of time for browsing the intertubes. My poor credit card!
