is this where ninfan tells us that Ivanka Trump looks very sexy in a bikini?
"Hacks" just show the Democrats to have poor security / stupid staff.
This made me laugh, essentially there are two type of companies/organisations in the world those that know they have been hacked, and those that don't.
If you had a clue what you were talking about Jambo you would realise this, as its next to impossible to have a 'secure system' which is usable by normal people, has a network connection and a link to the internet; that's why there is a shitload of investment into looking at the data flowing in and out of your organisation using packet analysis and deep learning to try and minimise what you lose.
As for obvious phishing attacks, unless you digitally sign all your messages, you really don't know where its come from and if its as the sender intended and some of the targeted phishing is very very difficult to spot even for experts.
As for obvious phishing attacks, unless you digitally sign all your messages..
...which jamba can't do as he is against encryption and encrypted messages. 😆
Vladimir Putin, invader of he neighbours, quasher of free speech, oppressor and manipulator along with having blood on his hands from the shooting down of mh17.
And someone proves that they have swallowed the US foreign policy narrative hook, line, and sinker.
is this where ninfan tells us that Ivanka Trump looks very sexy in a bikini?
..or gives a link to Donald saying it as proof that it's true?
Ford announces it has cancelled plans for a $1.6bn new factory in Mexico and instead the jobs will be created in the US.
Assange has said the Wiki source was not Russian
Assange has said the Wiki source was not Russian
And how exactly does he know that for a fact?
Not quite true on the Ford story.
They are going to expand an existing Mexican plant and create a new electric car at the Michigan plant.
And someone proves that they have swallowed the US foreign policy narrative hook, line, and sinker.
Please Ernie, enlighten me. Are journalists free? Are people opposed to Putin being locked up on exaggerated charges (pussy riot for example), did Russia support and provoke tensions in the Ukraine? Are the findings of mh17 not pointing right at a Russian supplied missile system. What about the state sponsorship of the doping programme? Are these things untrue?
Jambalaya, at this point it's not about the significance it's about Trump's reaction. His ego won't allow him to accepted that they wanted to help him. His initial policy vagueness via his appointment list is exceptionally pro Russia which is a massive change from the last 20 years. Are we not right to question the motivation for this and for people far more qualified to investigate?
Where are we now? 17 days no separation of business from.the office of president, no press conference, no plan.
No wonder Trump is the President-Elect coz he is absolutely right in his reaction whether via twitter or in person.
Just like his Presidential debate he practically wipes the floors of his opponents with his common sense.
Trump refers to his opponents as low energy, light weight or liar, choke artist ... 😆 True. He is absolutely right. I learn new phrase ... low energy ... I like that.
All you got to do is one glance at his opponents you know Trump has Trumped all of them regardless of who they are. A walk over then the rest is good funny entertainment courtesy of his opponents.
Here you go ... have a laugh.
Please Ernie, enlighten me.

and the state is exercising power to control rather than to govern. I'm sure you have your reasons for your belifs but you seem reluctant to share them.
Well that is up there with the JHJ do your own research comments
No I'm not asking you to do your own research. It's up to you if you want to embrace the US foreign policy narrative, I'm sure you've got your reasons.
Honestly, I'm not going to derailt he thread any more with it, I'm happy from a wide variety of sources that Russia and Putin are not somewhere I'd like to be, trust or welcome with open arms. Many international NGO's agree too
and I'm guessing this is all part of the US led narritive

But ernie can you explain why it's not suspicious that Trump seems to have completlety back flipped on this narrative? What would have convinced him that it was all lies? He is already at odds with his own party on sanctions.

Yes, we can agree on that.
I'm sure that we can also agree that this for example isn't

We still don't know for certain who the military forces who kicked the whole thing off were, all reports seemed to say they were Russian forces with the badges removed, is that how normal democracy works? Was the province in such dire threat that Russia needed to move in immediatly, seize buildings and kick off a referendum?
It's hardly the signs of a well functioning democracy is it.
Good summary on news tonight
"Twitter bullying"
I think we can be certain that the people of Crimea would rather be part of Russia. I think we can be certain they where not happy with the overthrow of their democratically elected government.
Twitter Bullying ? Ford are big boys. They do however, recognise the power of the President to impose import duty and renegotiate NAFTA.
I think Trump is onto something with his decision to largely bypass sections of the media. In this day and age why go via dated media formats and not direct ?

From back in November and from today
Ford CEO Mark Fields called the move "a vote of confidence" in Trump, but primarily a response to a decline in North American demand for small cars like those that would have been made at the Mexican plant. He said Ford would have made the same decision even if Trump had not been elected.Ford will cancel plans unveiled in April to spend $1.6 billion to build the new plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, a project Trump urged the automaker to abandon and called an "absolute disgrace" during the election campaign.
The No. 2 U.S. automaker also said it would invest $700 million to expand the Flat Rock, Michigan factory and would make new electric, hybrid and autonomous vehicles there.
The decison has much more to do with the US domestic small car market than Trump though it gives Ford the chance to come over as good old all American.
I think Trump is onto something with his decision to largely bypass sections of the media. In this day and age why go via dated media formats and not direct ?
Exactly, why bother to engage with serious journalists who do pesky things like research, it will just upset him the delicate little snowflake, being reminded he is exagerating, making stuff up or out and out telling deliberate lies.
As posted earlier in this day and age of fake news and all the rest presenting your case to people who have the time and resources to check, rebuff and argue with you is important to the people. The press have a role twitter can't have, 1,000,000 followers doesn't make you credible it just means people are looking/laughing at you.
Hence the way people read part of a headline, decide on a conclusion and miss the point repeatidly.
Trump is absolutely right in his approach of hammering Ford.
He should hammer Ford harder!
... serious journalists ...
That description is total contradiction in Merica. 😆
Trump is absolutely right in his approach of hammering Ford.He should hammer Ford harder!
Why their decision had nothing to do with him? His hammering made no difference at all and highlights the massive problem only communicating via social media presents - it only allows for his view point to be expressed, no counter point for balance, no quote from Ford US, no comment from industry experts or analysts. If all you want is to have your opinion reinforced then great. However it's a short cut to much worse.

You think Ford is that naive knowing who will be in office in another 16 days time?
Ford is merely preempting Trump to get into Trump nice book and Trump knows that. 😛

Really. Aren't you countering his views now? There are so many countering views it is difficult to start because everyone has opinions. 😆
Quote from Ford US? It's a bit too late now innit so they better relocate back after all these years. 😆
YOu do know how to read other posts and articles don't you? The reasons for the decision are above, it's good PR from Ford to claim they are staying in the US when in fact it's a market led decision.
But now I remember your another one that doesn't like those pesky facts getting in the way of things.

Regardless of what the article says have you actually been listening what Trump says so far about business going to Mexico? He has been saying about Merican business going to Mexico ... 😆
So no, you can't read them and don't want to read them and even if what they are saying is true you refuse to believe them.
“I know that doesn’t make it any easier for people whose jobs have been outsourced overseas, but if a company’s only means of survival is by farming jobs outside its walls, then sometimes it’s a necessary step. The other option might be to close its doors for good,” Trump wrote in the post.
Some of the Trump suits on Amazon.com show they were imported, Made in USA or both. BuzzFeed ordered a suit that was listed as both “imported” and “Made in USA” — and ended up with a label showing the suits were made in Indonesia.
Users commented on Amazon.com that the suit that BuzzFeed purchased previously was listed as being imported from Mexico or China. This photo shows a Trump suit that carries a “Made in Mexico” label.Manufacturing information online is not always reliable — for example, a photo of one shirt shows a “Made in Bangladesh” label, but the item description says it was made in China. This may be a reflection of the different countries that products sometimes pass through before they are ultimately shipped into the United States.

He says a lot of things but means very few of them, is he currently tweeting at himself to move his production back to the US? Maybe pay some tax on his earnings in the US? Stop sending his work to Mexico?
it's good PR from Ford to claim they are staying in the US when in fact it's a market led decision.
Alternativley it's a clear face saving move to try and pretend that they weren't going to move to Mexico really anyway,
As for buzzfeed - I think it's hilarious that the worst scandal they can come up with is that there was an unclear description on a product being sold through amazon 😆
If it had said 'made in USA' and turned out not to be, they might have even had a point, but was obviousl to anyone with half a brain that it a dodgy description that said both imported and made in USA, that anyone could see was 'one of those things that happen' with internet sales rather than an attempt to deceive anyone.

Not can't read them but I just don't trust all that I read especially from so called "serious journalists".
Yes, some jobs must go somewhere but there must be a balance.
Also he talks about products he buys that is made in China but not because he wants to but they just happen to be made in China etc ...
Don't you think it is much better to see him hammer the Merican industry back into shape then what he is buying or using or making? 😆
He says a lot of things but means very few of them, is he currently tweeting at himself to move his production back to the US? Maybe pay some tax on his earnings in the US? Stop sending his work to Mexico?
He says a lot of things? Most of them politicians say things. Are you going ahead of yourself here? He is not in office yet so judge him when he is in office.
Pay tax? Yes, I think he does whatever amount that is but if he can abide by the law yet pay the minimum what is the problem? You are morally right? Funny question he asked how Mrs Clinton managed to get her millions while in office. Funny that. 😆
He says a lot of things? Are you going ahead of yourself here? He is not in office yet so judge him when he is in office.
Sorry I'll judge him now, he is shouting from the roof tops (well in his tweet bunker) about how bad it is that companies are taking manufacturing work out of the US while sourcing huge amounts of good from outside the US, will the 35% import rates apply to his own (still owned by him and his family) business?
Pay tax? Yes, I think he does whatever amount that is but if he can abide by the law yet pay the minimum. What is the problem?
We don't know his taxes are still under investigation by the IRS and he refused to release anything, we don't know if he paid the minimum or if he evaded taxes.
You are morally right? Funny question he asked how Mrs Clinton managed to get her millions while in office. Funny that.
Deflection? It's a common theme whenever he is asked something difficult, one of the many reasons he is so active on twitter rather than speaking to actual people he can control direction and avoid bits that are a little too uncomfortable.
but I just don't trust all that I read especially from so called "serious journalists".
Does that stuff all fall under the heading "Things I don't want to belive"
Yes, he was asked about his tweeting whatever ... I think he likes it to wind his opponents up. 😆 He speaks louder and clearer so in the spirit of Trump as he once said to the journalist " ... you need to speak up a bit coz your voice is weak ..."mikewsmith - Member

He can refuse the IRS? Call me dumb but I definitely know which one is which. 😆We don't know his taxes are still under investigation by the IRS and he refused to release anything, we don't know if he paid the minimum or if he evaded taxes.

Not deflection at all. It's about corruption and we all know that politicians corrupt (just a matter of how to catch them ...) but it is the level of the corruption that is the problem coz politicians are so corrupt that they leave nothing for the people to scavenge. Not even the tiny bones.
As we say in the Far East you may be corrupted but have pity and leave something for the people. The career politicians leave nothing for the people ... that is dumb.
Like you "I want to believe ... " ... 😆Does that stuff all fall under the heading "Things I don't want to belive"
According to Assange Podesta (Head of Democrat election campaign and main person who's email was hacked) shared with people that his password was 'password' 😯
A 14yo kid could have hacked his email ....
Assange doing an exclusive for fox news! That is the more interesting part, apparently and all that. He could just have told us who did the hacking as he knows so much 😉
According to Assange Podesta (Head of Democrat election campaign and main person who's email was hacked) shared with people that his password was 'password'
Right then, back to the facts and maybe some thoughts...
Google implement some "Don't be and idiot protection" common words are not acceptible as passwords, such as password - just tried to set up and account and change an existing spare to "password" and you get
Common words are easy to guess. Try again?
apparently things like "qwertyui" and "abcdefgh" are also banned which leads you to wonder how much of Assange's exclusive with a very right wing media organisation is also true. With a full repuiblican set up it's fairly obvious Assange and Snowdon are up there on the list being measured for their orange jump suits so he has nothing to win supporting Trump - in reality does Trump gain credability from the support of somebody they want locked up?
Is Assange playing a long game? Got plenty of time to plan one - drop something spectacular on inaugeration day perhaps? It would be safe to say he has no love of the US in any flavour just be having fun.
Time will tell.
When Jamba is having to quote Assange via Fox news, you know hes desperate!
obviously 'Password' wasnt his password for the reasons Mike mentions and because it was in Fox news which is pure right wing fantasy
Gullibility factor 9.9 to swallow that
what is really interesting is how Assange is now a hero of the alt-right, when a couple of years ago he was the antichrist, Jamba, Trump, Palin all now spreading his gospel!
(Us lefties disowned him when he started broadcasting via RT)

and qucikly back to the cars...

and on the itelligence I think this picture may help explain his position over time

Strange, the utterly impartial huffington post managed to make an anti-Trump story out of a Trump tweet that was entirely accurate.
Trump said:
“General Motors is sending Mexican made model of Chevy Cruze to U.S. car dealers-tax free across border,”
And, he was right
More Fake-News from the lefties eh Mike...
“All Chevrolet Cruze sedans sold in the U.S. are built in GM’s assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio,” GM spokesman Patrick Morrissey said in an emailed statement. Of the 190,000 Cruzes sold in the U.S. last year, the company has said, just 2.4 percent were hatchbacks made in Mexico. So Trump was exercised about 4,500 cars.
Further down ninfan, why the hell would anybody think it makes sense to tool up a production line for 4,500 cars. Also what prompted the Don to wake from his slumber and tweet off about GM? Is 4,500 cars the biggest thing he has to worry about. Maybe he is trying to keep some noise going before he gets to see the evidence of Russian interference in the election. Seeing as his new bestie Assange's story doesn't quite hold together.
But what he posted was still true,
yes Mike?
Does it matter how many? They're still importing Mexican made cars tax free, it's entirely consistent for Trump to oppose it because it's the very core of what he was elected on, whether it's 4,500 or 45,000
It's just the huff post trying to whip up a story out of nothing, because gullible lefties never bother fact-checking anti-Trump stories, they just jump on the bandwagon, like you did.
Strange, the utterly impartial huffington post managed to make an anti-Trump story out of a Trump tweet that was entirely accurate.
😆
More failure to read from ninfan. Everything important mentioned in the politifact assessment is mentioned in the HP article. Yes Trump's tweet might be strictly speaking accurate in what it says, but it's the usual Trump methodology of giving a totally misleading impression by being economical with the actualité. I'm sure most people reading that will think that most or even all Chevy Cruze models sold in the US are made in Mexico, as that's exactly the impression he wants to give.
I wonder if politifact can be persuaded to assess ninfan's (and maybe jamba's while they're at it) posts on STW - ninfan says "was entirely accurate", politifact (who he's basing his argument on) says "Trump’s statement is accurate but needs clarification or additional information." The lack of additional information is the whole point.

Article title
Trump Tweet Attacks A Car That’s Mainly Made In Ohio
“General Motors is sending Mexican made model of Chevy Cruze to U.S. car dealers-tax free across border,” Trump tweeted at 7:30 a.m. “Make in U.S.A. or pay big border tax!”What prompted that tweet is puzzling.
The article is looking at the slightly deeper context, I know it's a hard concept in 144 characters or binary thinking but lets give this a go.
Trump has sometimes used Twitter to respond immediately to items he sees on TV, but cable news transcripts show no mention of the Chevrolet Cruze in the early hours on Tuesday. A spokesman for GM said he had “no idea” what caught Trump’s attention. A spokesman for Trump didn’t respond to a request for comment.
and following up
Trump’s tweet reminded Hill of one that the president-elect sent in November when he falsely claimed to have worked with Ford to prevent a plant closure in Kentucky. Ford had never said it would close the plant.“He did the same thing with Ford,” Hill said. “You say something but then after you get all the facts, you have to draw back.”
Of course, Trump didn’t retract his false Ford tweets. Instead of drawing back, Trump usually pushes ahead on some other topic, often enough with another falsehood or attack.
After he successfully bullied the air-conditioner manufacturer Carrier into keeping a factory in Indiana last month, Trump couldn’t resist inflating the number of jobs the company had said would stay. When the president of the local union corrected those numbers in a live interview on CNN, Trump, who apparently had been watching, immediately tweeted that the union leader was terrible at his job.
“A lot of it has to do with the auto industry being so public and companies in it being household names,” Acevedo said. “It makes sense that they are targeted so often.”
Quoted as I assume you didn't bother reading the leftie propoganda that has all of the facts contained in it, comments from the auto industry including GM direct.
You could say in fact it was
It's just [s]the huff post[/s]Trump trying to whip up a story out of nothing, because.......
Answers in 20 words or less to the same adress as the Brexit competition.
What could he be trying to deflect attention from? Isn't he getting a briefing today from the Intellegence people about something? I expect him to be live tweeting that one, maybe Julian can skype in to help explain some things.
It's just the huff post trying to whip up a story out of nothing, because gullible lefties never bother fact-checking anti-Trump stories, they just jump on the bandwagon, like you did.
Except as I just pointed out, HP fact checked their own story with just as much rigour as politifact fact checked the tweet. Could you point out to me what exactly is inaccurate about the HP story? Maybe whilst you're at it you could explain whether the Trump tweet gives an accurate impression of the facts?
p.s. I'm only a leftie in comparison to you, jamba, Trump and Hitler
Assange's views are highly relevant as it was Wiki which published her emails. Clinton's emails contained her iPad password for certain, not hard to imagine a whole lot more security info too.

Assange's views are highly relevant as it was Wiki which published her emails.
Except his password = password theory took about 15s to debunk, the phishing thing was explained very nicely too.
What is harder to explain is his appearance on Fox News.
