The CBP stat isn't saying that only 62 non-citizens were convicted of murder. It's saying that of all the non-citizens arrested by Border Patrol (which is just one of literally thousands of law enforcement agencies in the US) for any reason, 62 of them had previously been convicted of homicide or manslaughter.
It doesn't actually tell you anything about the citizenship of who is committing homicides in the US.

I would think her plea will only of been agreed if she has actual evidence that can flip one of the other conspirators. Does not matter if it is trump I think the idea is that they flip enough of the lower level players to flip Meadows.

Trump is reportedly terrified of prison (not unreasonable, I suppose). A few days banged up on contempt might persuade him that any deal that keeps him out is worth taking...or it might lead him to think that anything is better than being found guilty.
