He does not seem to understand that other countries have just as much hubris as he does and that they want to save face and be respected.
They need to be charmed not bullied and he has only ever had the skill set/personality to do the later.
[tinfoilhat]Then again the best way to shut down the russia rumour is a massive public falling out with them, preferably militarily [ but with no casualties] and some harsh words "diplomatically"....makes you think eh[/tinfoilhat]
"holocaust camps"
Ahem "holocaust centres". More Centre Parks than Butlins presumably?
ninfan - Membergiven that he was prepared to starve people by the Million. ICW.
Interesting sideline there actually, the scaled and drawn rations for forced labourers was actually quite close to that of the German soldiers, research has shown that much of the difference, resulting in starvation rations, was down to widespread corruption, often unpunished, but there are recorded examples of Germans supply officers being reprimanded and punished over it.
"For prisoners, meal times were the most important event of each day. After morning roll call the prisoners would be given their morning ‘meal’ – imitation coffee or herbal ‘tea’. For lunch prisoners may have been given watery soup. If they were lucky, they might find a piece of turnip or potato peel.
In the evening prisoners may have been given a small piece of black bread; they may also have received a tiny piece of sausage, or some marmalade or cheese. The bread was supposed to last the prisoners for the morning also, so prisoners would try to hide it on their person whilst they slept.
Hunger was one of the greatest problems. The meagre rations were merely intended to keep the prisoners alive. The Nazis did not provide prisoners with sufficient nutrition to carry out heavy manual work. Many thousands died from starvation or illnesses brought on by lack of nutrition." http://www.theholocaustexplained.org/ks3/the-camps/daily-life/meals/#.WO88TGfTXIU
" standard "marching rations" for units on the go, out of the support range of Feldküchen (Field Kitchens). Normally, this was meant for units moving from point a to point b, but was designed to be fed up to four days. All service groups (Armored, Mechanized and Infantry) received the same rations.
700 or 750 grams (25-26.5oz) of Graubrot (Gray Rye Bread--Not the stuff with caraway seed). Wrapped in Wax Paper or tinfoil backed paper
200 to 300 grams of Fleisch or 160 grams Wurst (Tinned meat or Sausage) or Käse (Tinned cheese) (many times this was issued as dried sausages and lumps of cheese wrapped in butcher paper)
125 to 175 grams (4.4-6.1oz) of Vegetables (or 50 grams preserved vegetables)
15 grams (1/2 ounce) of Jam, Honey, Hazelnut Paste or Margarine/Butter (issued into lard dish)
5 grams of Coffee (Generally in the form of some sort of "Ersatz" Instant or as a shared pack of 20 grams for 4 troops).
5 grams of Sugar. This was issued either in small bags, as part of the instant coffee ration, or, more rarely, in the form of rock candy."
Wow, who to believe; an unpleasant internet troll or theholocaustexplained.org
As I said - a little bit of encouragement and new heights of peak ninfannyness can be acheived, and I'm sure there's more to come
Using Sean Spicers initials in a discussion where he is talking about Hitler is just another layer of fail on the whole thing.
It wasn't initially deliberate...
Take it up with the MI6 officer (TXH Pancheff) who actually did the war crimes investigation for the war office and wrote this book on the issue:
Can't see your link - what's it to - "Holocaust centers"? Or Channel Islands ?
Before this descends into another farce, it's worth noting that Ninfan is referring to "forced labour" (commonly Russian/Slav prisoners) on the Channel Islands whereas Kilo is referring to those incarcerated in the concentration/extermination camps. Two very different scenarios.
Edit: Here's a link to details about the forced labour on the Channel Islands. Not easy reading
Could you stick up the page which talks about conditions for forced labour in Eastern Europe? You seem to have inadvertently used something about the Channel Islands to make some kind of point. 🙂
guys you think he will admit his error and accept the obvious point that the germans did not look after the prisoners in the death camps all that well and this extended to not feeding them very well hence the large numbers who starved to death. Its not really a point worth debating and it certainly not worth debating with the confused troll who would post any old shit as long as it gets a reaction
as long as we respond he will keep saying anything as long as its not rational, relevant or kind obvs
I suppose being an obsessive Troll is a notch or two (in this context) up on being an actual Nazi...
I mean, I'm assuming the former is the case...
Don't know why you guys engage with Nifan. All he wants to do is wind you up. I feel sorry for him tbh. Clearly he's upset in the real world to want to choose to come online and behave the way he does.
Anyway. This just happened in Afghanistan...

china not a currency manipulator
Quid pro quo Clarice:
@Junky:
admit his error and accept the obvious point that the germans did not look after the prisoners in the death camps all that well
Suggest you go back and read what I actually wrote rather than what you appear to have extrapolated it into in your own head (ps, you can put your tenner into Mike Halls collection)
I'd suggest you go back and read what you replied to which made no mention of the forced labour where you attempted to deflect the point to* ** - except that actually JY is right, there is zero chance of you admitting any sort of error.
* though in fact oob clarified that he was referring to the hunger plan rather than death camps - in either case the original point about Hitler deliberately starving people is proven
** I have to admit I'm surprised even at you employing such deflection tactics in order to defend Hitler - but hey ho, I guess that proves something about how low you are prepared to go
p.s sorry Junky - I did try hard not to directly engage with him in a way which would require a response
I understand but its pointless as we all know he is lying and saying it to get attention so any response gives him joy and encourages his MO
Still the world is made of up strange folks with their own inner demons to satisfy and using nazis and lying is not to low for him
Yep, because after all, we haven't listened to months and months of lefties comparing Trump to Hitler, have we?
It's strange though Junky, for all the times you keep saying about ignoring me, you keep posting about me - I'm wondering if this is developing into a bit of a fetish? Like back when you got all upset over being called Junky rather than Junkyard.
Big Bomb. UK press reporting it was IS tunnels in Afghan. French press saying it was Syrian bunkers ?
China is a currency manipulator. They hold their currency down hugely in value, more than 50% ?
Anyone remember Obama joking about drone striking anyone who tried it on with his daughters? Trump is approaching those levels of inappropriateness with this choc cake/ missile talk.
we haven't listened to months and months of lefties comparing Trump to Hitler, have we?
That would be what I would call - correct.
At last. Well done.

You see now Donald has changed his mind and they are not...
President Donald Trump publicly reneged Wednesday on a pledge he delivered with consistency throughout his presidential campaign -- his promise to label China a currency manipulator.According to the Wall Street Journal, the president said the decision came in consideration of talks with China over its role in countering North Korean weapons testing. Trump said that any move to attach the designation could hamper China-U.S. relations. He claimed that, in recent months, China's currency manipulation has halted.
Trump regularly insisted he would confront China over currency manipulation throughout his presidential campaign, ranging back to 2015. The action to "direct the Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator" is still listed as part of "Donald Trump’s Contract with the American Voter" on his campaign website.

Do keep up won't you
Wherever the MOAB was used I hope it didn't kill any civilians otherwise someone's got to bomb a US airfield.
"comparing Trump to Hitler"
Yeah, the big winner over the last few months has been Hitler's public image. Who knew the Historians have got it so wrong and Hitler was actually not much worse than an unpopular leader of a Liberal Democracy...
Syria last week, Afghanistan this week, NK this weekend? Seal Team 6 in SK apparently. From a blog I follow somebody cannot contact 3 members of his family who are serving US military in SK. The last major exercise between SK/US military was a decapitation strike. China massing 10K's troops on the NK border.
Tin foil hat time?
"Wherever the MOAB was used I hope it didn't kill any civilians otherwise someone's got to bomb a US airfield."
🙂
Am I alone in thinking it was fired into an empty valley? Using the MOAB maximises publicity but you'd have to assume it must be militarily useless in this situation otherwise it would have been used many time before over the last 20 odd years.

Probably coming up to its use by date....
MOAB's are not cheap and usually better results (apparently from what I've been reading on the ever truthful internet) can be obtained by carpet bombing but cave systems and canyons tend to concentrate the MOAB's blast.
It is however, a good demonstration weapon.
the MOAB is described as being for a very specific purpose (IE getting into places like natural caves) Buildings you can assess and look for weak spots caves and tunnels you can't see
MOP is a true bunker buster, they've only about 12 of them so pointless in a real war but say you wanted to take out somebody tin pot dictatorships hardened deep under ground nuclear facilities........
Nah.Wherever the MOAB was used I hope it didn't kill any civilians otherwise someone's got to bomb a US airfield.
It's fine to kill BEAUTIFUL BABIES with conventional weapons.
Won't somebody think of the ugly babies! 🙁
"It's fine to kill BEAUTIFUL BABIES with conventional weapons."
A rather chilling thought is that to gain the right publicity out of this the "Taliban" [1] now have to kill some innocent civilians and scatter their bodies around the site...
I hope they don't.
[1] Not sure they really exist in the terms our media discuss them.
A $16 million bomb and a whole 36 Isis millitants killed
Tiny hands must be pleased, no one is talking about his collision with Russia pre election now
Oh I dunno...this shit isn't even funny anymore...but...
9000!!!!!
Covering up the fact that they killed 15 in friendly fire incedent last month?
So 50 odd cruse missiles put an airbase out of action for 2 days and now 30 odd Isis fighters killed by a bomb with a blast radius of a one mile.
And Obama dropped something simular when he was looking for bin laden in the cave systems so small hands can no longer say Obama was soft on terrorism can he.
Is trumps foreign policy going to be bully boy tactics and dick waving cus we all know how well that works on the world stage. Way out of his depth it seems I can see them bombing North Korea before the years out
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and the donald is not made of the finest moral fibre know to humanity.
He was also going to have external conflict as he was always going to fail internally so he needs the distraction of it all
North korea is a much more worrying scenario tbh and all that remains to be seen is just how far the mad men with the bad haircuts will go in their power duel
Well those weapons need to be replaced. "Bringing jobs back to America".
Even China are saying the Korean Peninsula is about fall off the cliff maybe they have lost control of the silly boy Kim.
China has put 150 thou troops on the norths border either that's to bluster and bluff the south and USA or they feel that they might get millions of refugees poring over the border if it kicks off.
I don't think the world has had so many terror groups on all parts of the globe.
China is having problems they even are banning beards and head gear in some parts
Russia well that's just a mess
Europe is getting all those jihad holiday makers return with the skills they picked up
And the US looks like it's locking up and pulling up the drawbridge but that won't help as they have far to many guns In circulation and they seem to struggle with home grown terrorist over the last 10 years
We just need a steady hand on the ships wheel
Where did you read about China?

May be fake news,,, it's near the end of piece surprisingly well written too. I don't think the proper jurnos get to report on the main page news items anymore
And the US looks like it's locking up and pulling up the drawbridge
Apart from loosing off a few missiles after dinner.
Ran out of Ferrero Rocher or after 8s an needed a quick diversion IMHO.

graham : that's a brilliant account of the current state of play with trump, cheers for posting.
It's going to go fubar at some point, i just hope it does not involve the UK when it does.
So Republicans’ strategy, right now, is to replace a law that’s more popular than they are with a bill that was polling at 17 percent before it went down in flames. And their approach to doing that isn’t a new campaign where they persuade the public that the AHCA is a good idea, nor is it a new proposal that fixes the problems that made the old bill so unpopular.
Perfect sense
Selective fake news
The survey quoted is here: http://www.gallup.com/poll/207671/affordable-care-act-gains-majority-approval-first-time.aspx?g_source=Aca&g_medium=search&g_campaign=tiles
55% approve, up from 42% right after 2016 election
40% want to keep law but make significant changes
30% want to repeal; 26% want to keep law as it is
So, it's so popular that only half the quoted approval figure really approve of it
On that logic what percentage of the 39% who support Trump still want to make significant changes to him?
Does it make Trump more popular or mean that more people believe him.
Given the 17% who support the proposed alternative it makes the 26% who don't want to change the AHCA seem decent doesn't it.
I don't understand your point ninfan.
40% want to keep law but make significant changes, 26% want to keep law as it is.
I make that 66% want to keep it which is even higher than the 55% "approval".
I don't understand your point ninfan.
ninfan doesn't even understand his own points anymore, the poor soul has developed an automatic conditioned response to reply to attacks on Trump with spurious and often non-sensical outbursts of fake news.
He's went full trump.
waaah waah waah - more ad-hom leftie whinging.
Its nonsense
If you want to see "significant changes" then you don't 'approve' of the ACA - you may well approve of the concept of affordable healthcare , but not the act as it stands.
Would be interesting to see the approval figures when they asked using the Obamacare title rather than ACA.
So by your own logic 55% approve of the ACA and 45% want to see "significant changes". At least we are in agreement.
55% approve of the ACA
But 74% want significant change or repeal
Overwhelming support for the status quo
#Leftielogic
Would be interesting to see the approval figures when they asked using the Obamacare title rather than ACA.
What do you think those would demonstrate ninfan?
Because to me a lower approval rating when it is referred to as "Obamacare" would only demonstrate that some people are more caught up in hype and rhetoric than facts.
Presumably a number of those seeking "significant changes" want changes that bring it closer to Obama's original vision before it got watered down and compromised by party politics?
i.e. Some seek changes for more Obamacare, not less.
Ah I see. So you lump the "keep but with significant change" votes with "repeal"? Interesting.
#ninfact

Ninfan ... sorry to hijack your question but let me answer this ...
You do know that I cannot use other descriptions other than lefties don't you? If I were to use anything else as description they (lefties) would go huffing and puffing ... hopping mad they are, like the whole world has collapsed and make such a big deal out of it. So like treating children with tantrums I just have to stop describing them my way ... 😆
Why bother Chewy? I just lump them together like the virtue signalling amorphous blob they are.
The day they start forming their own opinions, I'll treat them as individuals.

100 days, still a Bawbag.
I still have no idea what virtue signalling is. Ah well, my loss I suppose.
