At first I thought what a ludicrous comparison, who the **** said that....... we all in this together.

But then I remembered that Apartheid is suppose to mean "separate development" and I realised that is exactly what this government is committed to.

Two separate worlds, and yet in one country. So whilst the great mass of the people are expected to face hardship, tighten their belts, and do with less, the wealthy bankers and the privileged few will reap great rewards and maintain a secure standard of living.

More hardship for the vast majority, whilst at the same time, more wealth for a privileged few ........Apartheid in a nutshell.

Thanks for drawing that to my attention aracer 8)

For me it's : Spending cuts - TINA

What's Tina done to deserve such comparison? 😯

She's very upset. She's here now, I'm trying to console her...

Ear, Ernie; you know about painting and stuff: how long should I let this gloss on my little cabinet harden until I can bung stuff on it without leaving an impression in the paint? Painted it Wednesday.

Well, just stuff like a lamp, clock radio, that sort of thing.

I tested it out yesterday, put my 'phone down on it, but it felt very slightly 'sticky', you know? From past experience, I was wary of putting anything too heavy on it, as I don't want to scar the paintwork.

Give it a few more days?

Ernie once again you are as useful as a Chocolate Teapot, or, as we call 'em round here, PCSO's....
