We are breaking a journey tomorrow night in/near Okehampton, so just wondered if anyone knew a pub or restaurant worth trying?
Any cuisines will do, but not fancy/pricey end of the market.

We stopped at this rather good cycling cafe/shop whilst doing Lejog. Great people, food and atmosphere.
Suggest you check the opening times and the menu first though to make sure they have what you are after.

They are a strong contender for breakfast on Tuesday! Not sure they are open late enough for us on Monday
If you’re coming into Okehampton from the A30 heading west bound, there’s a pub on your left hand side just as you get into the centre of town. Fountain Inn perhaps… I had a decent lunch in there last summer.

Me and the lad stayed there riding the Devon C2C. Really helped us out and decent food.
Great recommendation for The Fountain Inn - terrific food, great service. Now round the corner in the quirky cinema.
