About 3 weeks ago, i got the parking dings on my MK8 Civic repainted for £1300.  Since then, Mrs pandhandj has reversed into two separate walls. I think its time for some parking sensors.

Im reasonable on the tools or wires, so can anyone recommend a DIY kit?  Preferably ones with a silver sensor to go with the car?

thanks in advance,

paul

I used Dolphin parking sensors.

Simple enough to fit and have been reliable for a few years now. Routing wires is the most difficult part.

They don't have a massive range (distance) and sensitivity, but they're quite adequate.

Mark the bumper before you take it off to drill, plastic bumpers are stupidly flexible.

My kit even included the hole saw
