PITA with more than one Director, but got there and got the verification codes.
Sent them to Accountant as he needed them to file the Confirmation Statement.
Today received a snotty letter saying we haven't verified our identities, it's a legal requirement etc.
The letter is dated after the confirmation statement was filed using the codes we got when we verified.
Anyone else had this? Looks like another call to CH on Monday that I could do without 😡
Check you haven't got more than one almost identical record if you have more than one directorship. It happens a lot under the old system.

I have only ever been director for the same company for twelve years, the other director is my wife. My verification was easy as my Gov.One log in was linked to the company email. I did mine a few days before my wife, as that was a faff - can't use the same email and speaking to Companies House whilst we were trying to verify her I had to go on an incognito browser to get it to let me do it for her even with a different email (their advice). Anyway, we both got the same letter today.
No worries, was just the one thought I had. Hope you get it sorted.
Verified as PSC as well as director?
Took three goes for my verification to stick, despite the website telling me each time that it was completed.
I'd then go to do confirmation and it would tell me I needed verification...
Added to that, I went to verify my wife as the other director and it turns out her DOB was put in wrong 15 years ago.
The confirmation statement due in march was eventually done in July 🫣
They do love a threatening letter to get the blood pressure up.
The biggest surprise was that it was easy to speak to a human on the phone, and said human was competent and very helpful.
Looks like a timing issue. You've got your verification codes which confirm you're verified and your confirmation statement which confirms you've made your return and you're verified as you can't file the return without the Directors being verified...
Govt IT SNAFU? Shirley not... They are usually well behind on things though so its more likely that than a systemic balls up. 'Quick' call to tell them to sod off...
