I'd be amazed if you could, eBay is your best bet. Try searching within so many miles of you, there may be a localish seller who's happy for you to collect.

What is your reasoning behind getting it from a bricks and mortar shop ?

You'd be much better off getting one online ?

I'd try the like of PC World Currys, Currys PS World which way round it is I am not sure. They can be pricey though on periferals.... Happy hunting.

Try Computer Orbit. They're in Gateshead, Gosforth and on Westgate Road.

Why do you need one today? A cheapish tablet like hudl, will allow web access & some 'productive' apps, it would cost the same as a high street shop will charge for a laptop battery (the chances of any bricks and motar shop having the one you need in stock is slim), and you still end up with a useful device or you could just take it back! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Why do you need a battery though?

You could always buy a travel power supply that runs on 12v if you need to run it away from home.

Or if you really need remote power what about a cheap generator? ๐Ÿ™‚

If you are desperate, I suggest you ring around the second hand shops to see if they have a full laptop with the correct battery which you can buy then re sell later.
