I'm refitting an internal shower room which has the shower and sink waste plumbed out through a macerator (no option to remove macerator). Rather than use plastic pipe and box it in I'd rather find some pipe which I can use to make a feature out of it.

Ideally black 40mm metal pipe with some decorative fixing clips. Does this exist? My google skills are not yielding much other than plastic push fit/solvent weld pipes.

Best I could find was this, but it's not really what I was looking for:

Anyone know of anything?

Was hoping to avoid chrome coated stuff such as this:

How visible is it? If the fittings are out of site could you use something like a 45mm steel tube to surround the waste?

Or 35mm copper.
32mm and 42mm.chrome plate brass is readily available.

Thanks for the idea, they'll be a run of about 1.2m that's visible between shower and sink which runs under a radiator. This run is straight in front of the door opening as well so will be pretty visible....hence trying to find something more decorative than black plastic.

Might have to be chrome though 🙁

As above, go for some vinyl (sticky black plastic). I used chrome to match the rest of it but anything is possible. Just make sure you have the seam out of view.

Cheers, I'll take a look at wrap but not sure it's what I'm after. Was thinking more cast iron look & feel.

Could you not get that stainless steel pipe & paint it with black Hammerite?

You can get plastic cast iron effect rainwater downpipe with fancy moulded brackets but it'll come in 68mm as the smallest size.

Use Percy's faux-cast 68mm downpipe to cloak the 40mm waste?

Having used it on a customer's house it looks pretty good, the brackets even have special capped screws to look coach-screwed.
