So, I’m familiar with most campsites in the dark peak area. However, I’m looking for something quiet and remote where we could have a BBQ or fire pit?
It’ll be mini RRR’s (aged 4) first camping trip and we’d like to make it as exciting as possible for him and his friends hence the need for man-fire ugg

Erm nope - I wasn’t referring to a random fire on a hillside more a controlled fire pit on a paving slab in a campsite...
