How very dare they!!

I drive a TT and can easily afford it on what my executive placement agency brings in. Now, if anyone needs me, I'll be booking a holiday to the Amalfi Coast.

Yours,

Willard Double-Barrel.

Actually, i do own a TT and, whilst it is expensive to run (mine is a V6, so gets poor economy but sounds awesome) I can afford it.

I think this is the case with a lot of Audi drivers - and drivers of other German brands. They're so desperate to get an Audi on the drive they'll buy a really crappy spec'd one. I remember looking for an estate - Mondeo, BMW 5 series or Audi A6 Avant. Basically the majority of the BMW's or Audi's were really crapply spec'd - clearly the original buyer really couldn't afford a half decent spec'd one so just got the basic spec just to get the brand on their drive and willy wave to the neighbours. The amount of people who think an S-Line is a good spec'd car amazes me - they're basically a bottom spec car with a flashy badge. Give me a decent spec'd Mondeo that is 3 years and 30k miles younger any day - because that's what you're getting at any given budget. I love a German car, but not at any price.

I drive an Audi because I like them and can afford them, waiting on my new car though it's not an Audi.

I think this is the case with a lot of Audi drivers

Only in your head.

Don't shoot me, but I sell fast German cars, sometimes the entry level spec is the best bang for you buck & will runs ring around cars from other manufacturers that offer spec as standard for the same money.
It's a bit like buying bike from the likes of On-one rather than Santa cruz, except it's the other way around ๐Ÿ˜‰
