I like mellow melodious music generally. Heared a few of their songs and a few that I thought were theirs, and it sounded really nice. But I dunno much else.

Rewski that's ok but sounds a bit like lift music 🙂

Homework, Discovery, Alive 2007 (pref special edition as it includes the Together/Music Sounds Better encore)

Disco Stu, Spot on! Bangalter's Spinal Scratch being a particular favourite.

First 12" i bought was DJ Falcon's My Name is EP 😀

DJ Sneak remix of this is good, he's also in the video as is Roger Sanchez

i reckon Discovery and Homework are the best place to start. probably recognise more tracks on Discovery than any other. Alive is also good and love the Tron Legacy remixes album but not a fan of Human After All, with the exception of "technologic" the album does nothing for me.

If you like Daft Punk it is also worth looking at Justice's first album. one of the best opening tracks ever!

Released the first single off their new album this morning.
Get Lucky - ft.Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.
I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing when it comes out in May

I was lucky enough to see them live at [url=

Festival 2006[/url]. Dancing in the California heat with a beautiful Russian girl while buzzing my tits off was awesome.

I'd agree that Alive 2007 is a good place to start. Still the best way to get a party started at my house.

I never really 'got' Homework, to be honest - I think Discovery is more accessible.

Excited for Random Access Memories, of course...

Their live album is my recommendation

I had a chance to go see them at the Que Club in 1997 where they recorded Alive:97 I opted to go see Andy Weatherall at my local techno night (House of God ) instead.

If you get a chance to see IntroducingLive perform Discovery live then do it, I saw them a few months and they were pretty damn good

Daft Punk are one of my all time favourite artists and on my laminated list of 'getting to go see them live if any chance arises regardless of cost' - missed out on the last tour in 2007 as it was my own wedding the same week!! lol.

Didn't you think that 'human after all' sounded like it wasn't finished and that they just cba'ed?
Excited to hear the new album.

Good call! some of the Roule stuff on vinyl - Not particularly mellow and melodic but Tuneage of the highest calibre all the same.

I heart Lemon Jelly SO MUCH!!!

first two Vitalic albums worth a listen, I'm not yet sure about the new one, except this

From the punk Homework is the ultimate classic, I really loved Human After All.

I nearly bought one of those daft punk coffee tables from habitat.

A big Daft Punk DJ track, all mixes:

Molgrips - not as dancey as daft punk, but if you like melodius then try Rhian Sheehan. Just got the standing in silence album and its ace.

Yeah it was a good investment, but I think £5k like the one on eBay is unrealistic >£2k
