[Closed] cyprus hols in may - should i be worried

The wife and me and our 2 kids are booked to go to Cyprus end of may for my sister in laws wedding
Were staying in a villa which we've paid half already and we've paid our flights with easy jet, my mother in law says she thinks she paid by debit not credit card
So with all that's going on out there what do people think will happen -riots stokes etc
If things go tits up where do we stand on getting flights etc sorted
Obviously going to get travel insurance but not purchased yet if I buy it now will it cover cancelation due to things being dodgy out there (refund of flights etc)
Thanks in advance for any advice as I'm quite in the dark on this subject
