Was going to pootle around the Cairngorms Loop but conditions I think will be too Bear Grylls for me. so need an alternative.
Can be on a train in Lincolnshire post 6pm of the 29th and need to be back around the 5th.
Have done all the Sustrans that I want to . Highlands would be good if not too difficult to navigate. or is there a fairly easy to navigate tour of the WW1 battlefields?
Spec would be middle aged. bike packer with tent.

Train to Plymouth or Portsmouth ferry to britany?
My flights spain to uk are similar dates and cost me 50 gbp return, cerca same again for the bike. I d be getting a flight to 1 airport and a return from somewhere else. A leisurely tour between the 2, stealth camping along the way.
