[Closed] CV help... Any recruitment experts out there?

So I used to think I was pretty good at CV’s, or at least I thought I was. More often than not I got interviews off the back of the CV’s I submitted anyway, which led me to believe I wasn’t bad at it. But I digress...

Trying to piece one together now for my GF, and I’m all over the place! A mix of skills and experiences, a number of different job roles (some only held for a short period of time for one reason or another) over the years and reading lots of conflicting information on the internet about what style of CV and how to lay it out is best for said type of role that is being applied for...

Can anyone help? As in REAL help, not just pointing out the bleeding obvious or regurgitating a webpage that you’ve just read that enabled you to update your cv for a job you recently applied for... Sorry to be a bit crude here, but could do with somebody who has real professional experience of this, and will gladly pay for their time in bike parts/sexual favours/booze of choice/cold hard cash (delete as applicable, but remember, I do own a bike shop! 😂) as required.

This is one of those “help, deadline is tomorrow and I’m up the creek without a paddle” situations, so please please please, if you are in a position go and you want my eternal gratitude (and payment in some form) then state your credentials below...

Many thanks in advance guys! 👍🏻

I'd be happy to take a look at it for you.

Credentials, interviewed staff in many different positions across multiple companies dating back to the mid-90s.

No sexual favours required. Photos will suffice.

+1 - I care more whether someone can demonstrate they have the skillset we're looking for than where they've worked / for how long.

Happy to help, 17 years in recruitment, mostly IT and professional services but done lots of other stuff to.
General advice:
Write it for the job you want and emphasis the bits you/she thinks will help her get it.
3 pages max, 2 ideally.
Proof read and proof read again.
Unless it's very relevant, only show the last 10 years, maybe 15 of experience, it saves space and the rest is available upon request.

This much isn't the problem... You and I are probably at a similar level here, I've helped MANY people out with their CV's before and lots have got the jobs. I've got some quite specific problems I need help with that a recruitment consultant would know how to handle.

write important parts in blood.

I've had job interviews before where this was expected! 😉
