My wife has just asked me to put up a curtain rail in the spare room. No problem. I set to work taking the roller blind down and putting the new fixings up for the new curtain rail.
She enters the room and sees what's happened. She exclaims she didn't want the roller blind taken down. 'Hang on...' says I,'you wanted a curtain rail put up for curtains?!'
'Yes' says her, 'I want both'.
Is my wife mental?

Given that most of your heat escapes via windows you cant insulate them enough. Curtains and blinds as much as possible here..... Training others in the house to shut both on the otherhand....
