Signed up to this staff non-profit membership thing today. Seems pretty good:

Anyone else belong to it? Any views?

Costs £3.60 a month and I get money off and options to enter cheap events/trips.
Had a chat with the guy selling it too and he said that they'll reinburse me for cycling events at a sliding scale (2 per year up to the value of the membership).
Had a look at their website and i'm fairly impressed.

I had a look at the website and couldn't work out what on earth it was about. 🙂

You have to actively search for what benefits you get from it - I cancelled my membership as MrsMCTD got the same benefits for free through her (local government) employer.

"We" now get cashback from all sorts of places, apparently, but Wiggle, Evans and Halfords were the only ones that registered ......

Tongue firmly in cheek I hope.
Being a member of the CSSC (Civil Service Sports Club) has nothing to do with the employer or how Civil Servants are paid. It's not part of terms & conditions nor is it a staff benefit. Most Civil Servants probably aren't even members.

The Mod run Mtbw champions at pyestock was a fun day. Didn't happen this year and unlikely to happen again due to cuts.
I am a member just for that one event ....think it. Maybe time to cancel
........poker nights or salsa at the London club really aren't me.
