Was trying so hard not to comment. 🙁

And, to add to it all, tomorrow morning I am due to talk to a colleague who is not only Irish, but also lives in Oz. He's going to be insufferable!

There is nothing else for it - you will just have to kill him.

What are the chances of another draw?

(Says an England fan clutching at straws)

This is crazy! We had just pegged them back a bit and colly gives another 6.

Fielding has been poor all WC, what's happened we were on fire during the Ashes?

No, we're going to lose this one (typical English cricket fan pessimism)

Ohh yeah we will lose this save for an implosion by Ireland now.

Good on them.

Really? That would've been a brilliant game to watch, were you in Bangalore for the India game as well? Lucky devil if you were...

Oh my word...avoiding result all day but just heard it on the radio. Just thought I'd pop in to say hello. *waves*

Don't worry though lads, we don't take it that seriously. Tremendous innings from O'Brien. Fair dues.

😀

Agreed - some of us have said so already - no point in being a sore loser when someone pops up with a game like that.

But our fielding was atrocious apparently

Ireland were not great up to 120 or so and then O'Brien turned it right around. He was indeed on fire!

This has pretty much blown it wide open and it looks like it's going to be a great World Cup.

Englands fielding wasn't that bad to be honest...

We dropped about 4 relatively catches from what I heard and read on the BBB updates

It was unlucky for sure. But they are still a very good team and have 3 matches to go...
