as per title really. eating some nachos and cheese and broke a cusp on a previously filled molar. Hope said filling doesn't work loose as I have yet to resgister with a Dentist!
Whatever you do, don't imagine it will be 'OK' - if the tooth is breaking, it's officially 'had it'. Don't convince yourself that, if there's no pain, you've somehow got away with it - get to a dentist asap - the sooner you go, the cheaper and less drawn out it will be. If you can't get on the NHS, seriously look at Denplan monthly payments. I'd be happy to tell you how I know, but it's a long, sad and expensive tale...
Thanks. I hope to find a dentist tomorrow to get it sorted ASAP as I know it's goosed and probably gonna cost mega bucks.
My previous dentist was useless and wished i'd gone for a composite filling instead of the amalgam one you get for free on the NHS!
the amalgam one you get [s]for free[/s] on the NHS!
Not a big fan of the FTFY but in this case...
My previously black-filled tooth failed and cracked almost half off not too long ago. Only choice left now is a composite filling. Had a great discussion with the dentist over materials, use, positions etc. Bargain at £65. Shame another tooth which cracked a week ago ended up needing root canal this week but my new dentist has restored my faith in dentists.
