Just a warning for you all.
I must have (not knowingly) taken out card protection when I took out an HSBC c'card last year. I didn't notice the £29 on the direct debit last year and now this year, they've taken another annual £29 out, as I didn't cancel. How can I cancel something I didn't know I had taken out? Appartently they sent a letter out 7 weeks ago and cos I never replied and cancelled the CPP, they can keep withdrawing £29 every year. Needless to say, I'm having to fight for my £29. Barstewards :twisted:. Lesson for us all, check all your direct debits......
ive used em twice when my wallet was stolen abroad...the 30quid a year charge is miniscule compared to the hassle i could have had...they were great and saved a lot of strife.sorted me out with cash/new cards within 24 hours...
