I did leave the biscuit.

That’s all I’ll have today, tho. I guess the proof will be in the pudding, of having all calories at once, whether my technique works.

Rob,

Hi, I tried emailing twice to join up but don’t seem to have received any confirmation email. I was using my work email and it is a big firm, so not sure if it went to spam.

Do you mind checking please? I have not been able to get access to the sheet to fill in any details.

Chris

I think the hot chocolate basically crossed the border in to pudding territory. This is the thing with not drinking caffeine, if you want a hot drink, and not a decaf person, you have limited choices.....obvs the cream and marshmallows could have been avoided, but I didn't place the order. 😀

I'm feeling pretty dirty right now - that was the first Tesco meal deal of the year and it wasn't good.

Up till now I've managed to have something fairly healthy, low carb and filling. Now I'm just craving MOAR BREAD and a sleep.

No caffeine or alcohol in 4yrs now.

...apart from that one time John Lewis cafe spiked me with a mocha. Was tripping balls that night.

Yawn.... you must be a great laugh to go out with 😉

So birthday lunch was a massive mixed grill with a sugar free drink...

Very low carb and no chips! But blew my 800 calories easily in one sitting.

Just to buck the trend..... I actually just started on caffeine at 47. I have always found I start to get hungry/tired around 4ish and it’s definitely my weak time for snacking.

The Mrs has started working from home, so we invested in a good machine (as I got very bored going for cups of coffee twice a day).. Seems to make a decent cup, so I’ve spent the last few months learning to “like” it and having the one cup around then really seems to help see me though to dinner..... just need to make sure 1 doesn’t become 2..

Good work wiggles, but aren't you getting shitfaced on Friday? Nah you'll be right , a victory with the chips for sure!

Has anyone got and good recipes for dinners, like under 600 calories. Getting a bit bored of mine

Tom Kerridge's new series - http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/search

done variations on the chicken and the lasagne* already and both were good.

* can't now have lasagne wthout adopting the persona of Barry Homeowner from Athletico Mince, Bob Mortimer's podcast.

Just need to balance the kebab:coke/amphetamine ratio to make sure it is burnt off 😆

According to Strava I burnt 750 calories today. 604hm, 16km...and ten (!) PRs...

Thin steak, boiled spuds and salad. Oh, and a 1.5lt bottle of wine between two. Might have undone all the good, but hey. Why not.

Weather is looking good so another ride is on the cards for tomorrow.... and maybe shower. 😀

Sounds lovely, but Unfortunately yes, yes it has. 1000 calories of wine and the alcohol will have undone all the training benefit of your ride. You may even have got slower as a result

( sorry, I’m hoping to win fun sponge of 2018)

Mmmmm. Sponge.

But good luck on wrestling that title off some of our more obtuse members on here.

It was my birthday last weekend and this afternoon I'm going for a long weekend skiing. So in essence I've not really started trying. Skiing could go one or two ways depending on how much skiing is done v. how much apres-ski is done.....

Final call for truffle-shufflers to sign up!

Once tomorrow's updates start going in, adding new members becomes annoying.

So, anyone who wants to be entered (fnaar), send me an email quick-sharp.

I will also be removing those who are entered but haven't input their start weights - so there! 😛

So, went for a ride today, skipped lunch, not feeling that hungry. Obviously I could accept the gains and eat all healthy tonight. Sod that. Pizza for me!

Took the kids to buy shoes after school went into gregs so they could have a sausage roll and managed to avoid buying myself anything!

Saving myself for many beers and probably a kebab tomorrow... at least its after the weigh in 😆

Strava lies. Half the number of calories for a max indication then consider that you would be burning calories on the sofa reading a book. Sorry 😀

On a weird side-note. I’ve not eaten broccoli in a while, 4 months probably, and had a load today. After 5 mins I had mild stomach cramps, and about an hour later a case of the shits.

Guess I need to reintroduce the hard stuff a bit more gently.

Was doing really well until our first rehearsals for A Midsummers Night Dream this evening. Of course every one wanted to go to the pub afterwards so here I am 2 pints and a bag of crisps later dreading my weigh in tomorrow. Hopefully not too much damage done.

It'll be fine if you've been good the rest of the time. Weds was my beer and pizza night and last night I was working until 10pm so had pizza again. Still the lightest I've been in ages today

Well I am pretty pleased with myself. I've pretty much stuck to plan (cut out the snacks, bread, processed sugar etc and just eat main meals), I haven't been too stingy with my meals, had a couple of drinks here and there and have lost around 3.5kg

Best I've done on a losing weight regime ever I think. Just hope I can keep it up. Got a few meals out coming up all expenses paid so just need to not go too mad!
