Found an old 5S last night having a sort out. Thought I'd maybe use it as a camera/egg timer. Wouldn't turn on though. Left it charging overnight, but still dead as a dodo. Any ideas on how to wake it up? Can't even give it away cos who knows what's on it?

New battery time - likely less than a tenner inc the tools and instructions. Pretty easy to fix.

Have you tried the usual 'hard reset' or connecting it to iTunes to see if that brings any life?
