I have a solicitor working on this but they don't like to give estimates until they have full medical information. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or would like to have a guess at the amount I should be due. So I can start looking for a new bike. 😉
I was hit by an oncoming vehicle that lost control whilst overtaking. They have admitted full liability. This happened on 20th Nov and I am still off work.
I suffered a severely broken arm, radius and ulna smashed in half and this required a metal bar and eight pins. My hand is now offset and requires another operation and my consultant said it will never be the same. I spent five nights in hospital and also suffered a broken shoulder, sprained ankle and lacerated finger requiring plastics along with a severely cut knee.
Because it was head on I have suffered quite badly with PTSD and I am seeing a therapist.
I have a figure in mind through online research but it is quite difficult to pinpoint.
What do you reckon and what amounts have you received?
