Every day now I get phone calls from 08452639001 - Weatherseal or 08452639005 - Penicuik asking me if I want to "take part in a survey" I have signed up to that TPS asked my provider to block these numbers, but still I get them daily. Probably because I've told them it's harassment that they've decided to keep calling.
What else can I do. I've played Slayer's Reign In Blood down the phone at them. I've asked to speak to a manager (either cut off or passed to the guy next to them) I've hung up, pretended to have tourettes, I even told one guy I was part of Anonymous and I was going to start a hate campaign against them online.......nothing is working.
Any ideas what else I can do? the wackier the better, but if anyone has any serious way to get shot of them once and for all other than nuking them from orbit then I'm be happy to hear it.

Sy - that sounds very interesting - can you hang on a mo - and put the phone down and carry on with what you are doing
You could also cause them issues with the TPS lot - but it does take a couple of weeks for that to cause you to be removed from the lists

I get the occasionaly 'survey call' and used the line about signing up to the TPS, and that they shouldn't be calling me, but they said that only applied to sales calls. Not sure if this is true or not.

Thats why they say they are carrying out a survey when they call you so that its not a sales call to get around the TPS.
Do as TJ says and just leave the phone of the hook, they will soon get bored.
If it was me cold-calling and you did all those things, I'd be dying to ring again to see what you'd come up with next! 😀

the survey will give you a great discount off a new kitchen, however they will need to send a guy round to demonstrate the product to you.
i tell these type of people the house is brand new and it will be 10 years before i even need to think about kitchen/windows/doors/alarm etc.

Threaten to call the police and report harassment. If they call again, contact the police.

I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but it's just getting stupid now. The next logical step is to sign up their customer service e-mail addresses to porn websites or better still, try something like this:

I emailed the managers of BG and Scottish Power telling them to stop phoning and pointed out I was with TPS the calls stopped.
Seems like a silly question, but have you got a different number on the same phoneline?
I found out I had 2 numbers on my landline (the second number was 'free' so I didn't notice), so whilst I had registered one number with the TPS, the other still received the marketting calls (doh!)
