Anyone got one? Our fitter has recommended one but we're sceptical about spending £1100 on a metal box. The stove in our old house was a £250 eBay jobbie, which was great for three years but did start ticking a little bit when running hot hot.
Has anyone got a recommendation for a decent quality 5kw stove somewhere in between price wise? Not too rustic or too modern looking.

Yes and it's bloody brilliant. Looks superb, really easy to use and has great controls. Really well built too.
Also Clock's service has been brilliant. Our first one had an issue with the paint. Turns out that they tried a different paint supplier and they knew there were 12 out there with duff paint.
They came out within days and installed a brand new stove. No fuss, no questions.
