My two daughters (aged 3 and 5) have lovely straight, long, blond hair. This morning they decided to play hairdressers. The three-year-old now has stubble where her fringe used to be, just in time for starting nursery next week. The five-year-old is going to need rather a lot taking off to even up the sides.
I feel I have reached a parenting milestone.
Mullet?
Oh dear.. ๐
It could have been worse.
They could have styled it properly and wanted to become hairdressers!!
....good job they don't have access to some clippers then!
Best you take lots of photos so you can bring them out during their teenage years when they get really annoying!
Reminds me of the time of the chemistry set and the purple sister...
You know things can only get worse once she gets to nursery don't you? One of the parents came up to me at the nursery where I work explaining that her daughter had cut her hair because she wanted hair like mine . . . bearing in mind it's pretty shaved at the back with a diagonal fringe I reckon she did a pretty good job ;>)
shaved,with diagonal fringe.
was you in borstal with me ;o)
Oh, I'm sure it will get worse - I'm buying a big shed in about 5 years time, big enough to sleep in.
The eldest went to the hairdressers today and it's tidied up really well, though it's much shorter than it was. The youngest couldn't go, because she is ill and had just thrown up over me. Aren't kids great?
My daughters are now 11 & 13, it gets much more interesting as they get older. To be honest each "stage" of growing up is fun in its own way, there is so much to look forward to - even the tough bits.
interesting indeed.
my 17 yr old son broke the news that i am to be a grandpa in the summer.
not happy at 42.
At that age my Father used to stick a bowl on my head and that was his idea of a bob.
I bet they still look really cute. Well not when throwing up (obviously).
shaved, with diagonal fringe.was you in borstal with me ;o)
