Not too clever at posting pics and stuff, but my profile picture is my hand made effort. Currently rusting in the shed but I have made a frame jig from these dimensions. Just need to get new shed built before I make a few.
Riding in the starfish position on antiquated frame technology, an unreliable underpowered clunky v twin engine that's trying to rattle itself to death and a rear tyre so wide it won't go round corners!!
I can certainly see the attraction!
I demo'd a victory summut or another in Birmingham; it was the worst riding experience I've ever had, what a piece of junk!
Whenever anyone mentions choppers, I think of these little fellas..
My godfather had an XS very similar to this one in the mid 80s.. his was pink though..

Have owned a few Harleys in the past and got to know the manager of one shop quite well. One day they bought a chopper in from the States for another customer it was allegedly £25k but wasn't strictly road legal for the UK and they were waiting for some bits to arrive.
We got chatting about how crap it was 🙂 and he said take it out for a spin see what you think
I remember edging out of a side road and the forks were already in main road but when going in a straight line it wasn't too bad. I think if you like Harleys you're already more than halfway there and buying a chopper seems like a reasonable thing to do
