Anyone care to recommend a nice Chinese restaurant to dine in. Heading that way on wed/Thurs

General rule of thumb is if many of the diners are Chinese, it's good.
There's one in Greenwich I always go to, if I'm in that part of the world, very basic, but there's always Chinese eating there, and the food is excellent.

Joy King Lau if you want good food (see above about Chinese diners...), Imperial China if you want something a bit more fancy. Both good though.
Joy King Lau does the best dim-sum if you're heading there of a lunch time.

Wonkey's? 😀 Chuckles
For really good Chinese in London, try A Wong or Hunan, both in SW1.
