Any recommendations for some cheap/free kindle books?

I've read most of the classics, looking for something more contemporary/interesting.

There's a really interesting book about the early days of Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum................ really, it had me riveted.

Just finishing 'The Crew', a story about late 90's organised football hooligan gangs - pretty good.

Also look up C.J.Box books - a load of them were £1 and rather good reads.

Too slow, sigh.

Broadmoor Revealed: Victorian Crime and the Lunatic Asylum

It was free a couple of weeks ago but it's 86p now. It's not fictional but true accounts of some of the inmates etc.

That calibre thing sounds interesting. I'm off to google it.

This is amusing enough for 71p:

You've Gone Too Far This Time, Sir!

Generally worth just keeping an eye on the bestselling lists for anything that appeals - anything cheap and good usually flies up the chart.
